Mental Health Act Administrator - Special Mental Health and Addictions Services
- Part-Time (0.6FTE) position available
- 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Based in Takapuna

As part of the Mental Health Act administration team, you will:
- Manage the day to day processing of the mental health act documentation
- Ensure legislation is accurately recorded and applied
- Work closely with clinical teams, Director of Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS) and external stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, whānau, courts and legal representatives

This role is covered by the PSA National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement and is mapped to role profile 5D.
To be successful in this role you will need to
- Proven experienced in an administration role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act is an advantage, but not essential (full training will be provided)
- be able to solve problems as they arise
- have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential for this role
- be computer literate, with an appetite for learning new skills and processes.
