About the Role
Reporting to the Group Director Operations Taranaki this position will provide both operational planning and leadership for their designated area of responsibility.
The Manager Mental Health and Addictions Service will:
- oversee service delivery and the implementation of new strategies, contribute to agreed projects within the service and provide the day-to-day management of the service.
- be part of the team that collaborates with Senior Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Leaders to support, co-ordinate and monitor teams and outcomes within all of these services.
- also work in collaboration with relevant external stakeholders and other providers of their services to achieve agreed service goals and promote open communication between all stakeholders – both internal and external to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.

About you
To be successful it is important that you:
- Have experience post registration in a clinical management position preferably in mental health & addictions
- At least 10 years post grad qualifications /experience in leadership and /or management
The successful candidate will be well supported with a comprehensive orientation and induction programme. This position will need to have strong working relationships with the Clinical Director, Associate Director of Allied Health, Associate Director of Nursing and relevant multi-discipline staff.
