We are seeking an inspirational manager with strong mental health and/or addictions skills and experience as well as proven clinical leadership background to manage our Community Mental Health & Addictions Services

About the Team/Service/ Location
You will be primarily accountable for:
• Supporting, directing and coaching Team Leaders/relevant staff as required/appropriate
• Monitoring of the services to ensure effective service delivery, which encompasses business planning,
financial, human resource management and budget accountabilities
• Working in partnership with the Heads of Department and Professional leads of the relevant
professions in promoting, facilitating and providing clinical governance to the team, to enhance best patient care outcomes and to ensure safe clinical practice standards are maintained. This includes leading evidenced based professional clinical practice.

About you
Successful candidates will be:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience post registration in a clinical management position.
- Advanced experience in a range of clinical settings.
- Previous senior leadership experience.
- Proven ability to work in a complex and change environment.
- Quality improvement experience.
- Change and financial management experience (desirable).
- Understanding of New Zealand health legislation.
