Lead Clinician – Aronui Ora – Perinatal Mental Health
Permanent, Full Time Role (1 FTE)
- Full time role, with significant clinical component (0.2FTE lead clinical/ 0.8fte clinical)

Aronui Ora is a specialist adult mental health service, providing antenatal (before birth) and post-natal (after birth) mental health care during pregnancy and early parenthood (first 12 months of an infant’s life).
Aronui Ora services are available from pregnancy and for the first 12 months of an infants life, however, for people with longer-term mental health issues, a ‘shared care’ arrangement occurs where Aronui Ora provides added value care in conjunction with a lead adult mental health service provider.
About the Role
In this role, you will work in partnership with the Clinical Team Leader and Leadership Team to provide high quality evidence-based clinical services to our service users. The role has a place in the Leadership Team; you will influence decision making, represent the organisation professionally, and support a strong sense of team morale by demonstrating Te Toka Tumai values.
-You will join an established supportive team of psychiatrists, nurses, allied health and clerical staff.
About you / Key Requirements
- You will be an experienced, Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health professional
- Possess advanced clinical skills, strong knowledge and experience working in the area of Perinatal Mental Health and have a recovery focus with the ability to work collaboratively with our service users and their families.
A full and clean NZ driver licence is essential in this community based role.
