About the Role
Applications are invited for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician or Trainee Medical Laboratory Technician in our Hastings laboratory. The successful candidate will primarily be based in the Core Laboratory, with a home team of Haematology. They will play a key role in registering specimens, and conducting various laboratory tests and procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

About you
We are seeking an individual who:
- Has a keen interest or experience in medical laboratory science
- Possesses relevant qualifications or is currently undergoing training as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in their work
- Is eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Ideally, has recent medical laboratory experience and is already registered with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand
