Kitchen Assistant - Production Kitchen

• Full time position (40 hours per week)
• Come join our great team working in the Production kitchen at Waikato Hospital where you will gain valuable experience in our busy and fast paced kitchens.

About the Role

You will be responsible for task like;

• Assisting the cooks prepare meals for our patients, cafes and Meals on Wheels recipients
• Weighing ingredients
• Sandwich making
• Serving meals on the trayline
• Pot washing & cleaning

Food preparation experience and a food safety qualification are desirable but not essential. If you are reliable and are willing to learn, we will teach you the skills you need to do the job.

• The ability to work rostered shifts and duties, between 6am & 8.30pm. (It may include weekends & public holidays. Your role/hours will be confirmed on offer).
