About the Role

As a Health Care Assistant you will be working under the direction and supervision of the registered midwife in supporting new mum’s in the journey to motherhood.

A Health care assistant is a vital and rewarding position in the healthcare sector

Key responsibilities:

  • Direct Patient Impact – you will make a difference in women’s lives every day by supporting their pregnancy/birth journey
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Microsoft office proficient
  • An interest in promoting Women’s Health and well being, Knowledge of Te Reo and be especially willing to embrace Tikanga Maori
  • Work experience in a health care setting, administrative role, or customer facing would be preferred.
