About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant you will be working under the direction and supervision of the registered midwife in supporting new mum’s in the journey to motherhood.
A Health care assistant is a vital and rewarding position in the healthcare sector
Key responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Impact – you will make a difference in women’s lives every day by supporting their pregnancy/birth journey
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication
- Microsoft office proficient
- An interest in promoting Women’s Health and well being, Knowledge of Te Reo and be especially willing to embrace Tikanga Maori
- Work experience in a health care setting, administrative role, or customer facing would be preferred.
