About the Role
Te Poutama Arawhiti (Health in Aging) is looking for a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team. With a strong focus on rehabilitation therapy, this role requires good communication skills and a team focus.
You will work under the direction of the registered nursing team and alongside the many disciplines that make up our service. We have a permanent 0.8 FTE position available working 64 hours per fortnight. Full orientation and training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be a team player, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with our older population. We are committed to delivering high quality care to the wider community.

About you
The successful applicant will:
- Have a caring nature with a good work ethic
- Current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service
- Have a certificate on Health Care Assistance of Level 3 or 4
