Health Care Assistant - Outpatients

Permanent Part time (0.9 FTE)

Monday – Friday 0730-1600 (with alternating Fridays)

 

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as an Health Care Assistant and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Outpatients at Lakes.

About the role

Under the direction of the RN, you would be required to assist in the day to day maintenance of Outpatient clinics. This involves:

  • Setting up and running of clinics on a day to day basis.
  • A proficient understanding of Infection Control and Maintaining cleanliness of the unit.
  • Ordering and maintaining of stock.
  • Acting as a Chaperone for patients as required.
  • Assisting with patient management as per supervising RN within the area.

About you

You should have

  • The ability to work well within a team environment
  • A competent level of computer knowledge
  • A passion for patient centered care
  • Experience in stock management and understanding of the electronic purchase ordering database
