We are seeking applications for the position of Tauranga Head of Department – Intensive Care.
The successful applicant will have 0.1FTE of their current FTE allocated to the leadership responsibilities, along with an annual allowance/stipend. This leadership role is a three-year tenure.
As the Head of Department, you will work in partnership with the Clinical Director ICU and service cluster leaders to provide support, leadership and management of medical staff working within the Intensive Care Service at Tauranga Hospital. You will be a Senior Medical Officer, with relevant experience in Intensive Care.
This role provides direct leadership, coaching and support to colleagues within the service, and participates in recruitment, professional reviews, and practice development. There is a requirement to ensure that the development of Intensive Care services both align with organisational goals and values and meets the needs of a diverse and rapidly growing population across the Bay of Plenty.
