About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced General SMO to join our team.
To be successful at this role you will deliver excellent clinical services with the support of junior medical staff, management and other health professionals in a collegial and collaborative environment. Your experience and knowledge will also positively assist us as we grow and train our future health workforce.
To be eligible for this role you will be registered (or registerable) with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a FRACP (or equivalent).
We offer ongoing support for continuing medical education and our Division has extensive scope for research and clinical audits in General Medicine.
As part of the continuous improvement and innovation of our services you will be actively involved in driving new and exciting changes in the models of care that we deliver to our patients, both now and into the future. Waitemata is undertaking on-going improvement of our facilities to provide international best standard care for our patients and community.
