About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high quality administrative support to the General Manager Medical and Elder Services and their team. In this role, you will actively collaborate and engage with colleagues both internally and externally. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that is central to keeping the directorate running smoothly.

The Directorate of Medical and Elder Services delivers specialist care for older adults and patients with complex medical needs, working across hospital and community settings. It's a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on high-quality, equitable healthcare outcomes for the Te Tai Tokerau community.

About you
As an experienced Executive Assistant, you bring exceptional organisational skills, initiative, and a high level of discretion. You apply critical thinking and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience in a senior Executive Assistant role, supporting senior leaders in a similar role within a large organisation
- Skilled in scheduling and business support, with strong team collaboration
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Confidence preparing reports, presentations, and meeting documentation, with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholders
