Evening Ward Clerk, Ward 6 and 7
About the role:
A part time opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, motivated and professional individual who enjoys dealing with people on a daily basis to join our medicine team. The successful candidate will be working in ward 6 and 7 at Middlemore Hospital.
As a Ward Clerk your key responsibilities are to provide efficient administration, clerical and reception services, so that optimum patient care can be provided. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong customer service focus, computer skills and the ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team. This is a part time position and you will be working evening shifts. Shifts are 7 on 7 off Monday - Sunday rostered; PM shifts are between 3pm -10pm.
About you:
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Administration & frontline reception experience
- Computer technology knowledge and computer skills
- Previous clerical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in the health industry
- Proficient in using i.PM/PiMS
Previous experience in a health care setting and knowledge of Patient Information Management Systems (i.PM/PiMs) is advantageous.

Dependent on skills and experience the salary is in line with the PSA Clerical and Administrative staff collective agreement.
