About the role
Starship Digital and Community Engagement is creating a new role for a dedicated Starship Digital Content Producer Fixed term (2 years), part-time (0.5FTE) to assist in the development of digital resources to support the delivery of and engagement with digital content across the breadth of Starship’s services. This position is part of a wider service that develops and shares information, resources, policies and tools, working in partnership to support the child health priorities and aspirations of whānau and communities.
The Digital Content Producer is responsible for the end-to-end process of creating digital content for Starship’s digital platforms, from conceptualising ideas to content development, both video and graphic, to handover and supporting implementation.
About the Service
Starship’s Digital and Community Engagement service is continually transforming and is dedicated to upholding and actualising Te Tiriti o Waitangi and championing Māori and Pacific health equity. The service supports community, policy and advocacy, and digital engagement across the breadth of Starship, Te Toka Tumai’s services, as well as Safekids Aotearoa.
About you
We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team and can also use their initiative and work independently when needed. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders so being an excellent communicator who can engage and build relationships is key to success in this role.
To be successful you will have:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification, including: visual media, screen production, digital design, radio, TV, film, fine arts, audio production/engineering, communications, or other relevant qualification.
- Knowledge and experience working with relevant editing software
- Experience cutting content to agreed formats and briefs
- Excellent filming, and sound capture and sound mixing.
