Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is dedicated to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.

About the Role
Are you ready to bring your skills and passion for oral health to one of the most beautiful regions in Aotearoa? We’re looking for two Dental or Oral Health Therapists to join our Community Oral Health Service in permanent, full-time positions based in Tauranga. Whether you’re an experienced therapist or a newly qualified graduate, this is your chance to provide high-quality, culturally safe care to tamariki and whānau across the Western Bay of Plenty.

In this role, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds — clinical variety in fixed and mobile clinics, and the deep reward of delivering preventive care where it truly matters. If you value flexibility, whānau-centred practice, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference, this could be your next step.

About the Team / Service / Location
The Community Oral Health Service is made up of passionate, whānau-focused professionals committed to equitable oral health outcomes for tamariki across the Bay of Plenty. Therapists enjoy variety, autonomy, and strong collegial support, with a shared commitment to quality care and cultural safety. Based in Tauranga, you’ll work across a mix of mobile units and clinics—so every day will offer something new. With beaches on your doorstep and a strong team culture around you, this role offers both lifestyle and purpose.

About You
You’re a compassionate and community-minded Dental or Oral Health Therapist who takes pride in delivering exceptional care to tamariki. Calm under pressure and confident working both independently and as part of a team, you value whānau-centred practice and bring a flexible, can-do attitude to a mobile and clinic-based role.
