We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our service in the N1 team which primarily covers the Wellsford, Warkworth, Matakana, Silverdale, and Whangaparaoa areas.

ARDS is the largest Community Oral Health Service, providing free dental care to children from birth through to year 8, in community clinics. Our service ranges across the wider Auckland region, with multiple dental clinics, including a mobile fleet. For us, care of the child is forefront and we are looking for flexible people who are passionate about children, and improving their oral health outcomes.

About the Role

Prior experience in a dental environment is preferable but full training can be provided for the right candidate. All we ask is that you have a passion for:
- Working in health and working with children
- Making a difference in your community
- Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals
- Learning new skills and challenging yourself


The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to:
- Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients
- Provide administrative support as required
- You will need to have legal work entitlement (permanent) and a current full NZ driver's licence. There is an expectation that in this role you will drive a large van between sites.
