About the Team/Service/ Location
Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS) is a community dental service run by Waitemata District. We provide free dental care to children aged 0-18 years who live in North, West, East, Central and South Auckland. We have many clinics located in schools and in the community, and also provide care in our diagnostic vans and transportable dental units. You can look forward to the chance to progress within our forward thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our service in the S1 team which covers the Pukekohe, Papakura, Franklin and Waiuku areas.

About you
Prior experience as a dental assistant or a dental background is preferred. We ask that you have a passion for:
· Working in health and working with children
· Making a difference in your community
· Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals
· Learning new skills and challenging yourself
The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to:
· Support and assist dental/oral health therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients and whanau
· Provide administrative support as required
