About the Role

Women’s and Children’s Directorate have an opening for a talented senior administrator to work in a fixed term role at the Te Kuiti Maternity Resource Centre (MRC). The MRC is a bookable facility for community organisations and hospital services for pregnant women, tamariki/ new babies and whanau. 

The Coordinator will oversee the MRC space ensuring the facility supports local whanau to access outreach services like Lead Maternity Carers (LMCs) for pregnancy care, tamariki ora/ well child clinics, breastfeeding & local playgroup activities. They will make sure the environment is safe and welcoming for whanau. The Coordinator will also help facilitate a review of maternity services in the Te Kuiti area, including the functions of the Maternity Resource Centre.
