About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer and Whānau Leader to join our Mental Health and Addictions Service in Te Tai Tokerau. In this role, you will develop and facilitate systems and processes for consumer and whānau voices to be heard as well as facilitate service workforce, consumers and whānau to work collaboratively in service improvement and service development.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You’ll be joining a closeknit, collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high quality, patient-centred care within a supportive and well-established clinical service.

About you

To be successful, you will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and computer skills. You will also have:

  • Relevant lived experience with the mental health and addictions sector
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A current, full New Zealand drivers’ licence

Whilst not essential, if would be advantageous to have experience working as a consumer or whānau leader or advisor.
