Consultant Psychiatrist, Mental Health & Addictions
We are excited to invite applications for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our NEW Child Team within the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at Counties Manukau Health. This is a 0.8 FTE position offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of tamariki and rangatahi.
- Salary: $185,380 - $267,980 (ASMS SECA) – dependent on experience, PLUS CME's and MORE!
- Visa Support: Assistance available for overseas candidates, including immigration advisory support

Our integrated, locality-based services provide clinically and culturally responsive specialist mental health care for children and young people with serious mental health and addiction challenges across South Auckland and East Auckland. We work closely with primary care partners to support those with mild to moderate concerns. About the Role:
As part of this newly funded child team, you will provide clinical leadership and expert assessment and treatment for tamariki. Your base will be at Springs Rd, East Tamaki, with work across various clinics, including consultant liaison with health professionals in primary care and schools.

Essential Requirements:
- Eligible or registered in the Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand (check your eligibility here)
- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZ Medical Council
