Our maternity service is committed to providing high quality, culturally safe and equitable care to all wāhine, birthing people, and whānau across the Waitematā district.
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate midwife, to lead and coordinate our multidisciplinary obstetric clinic services. The role is vital in ensuring that all wāhine and whānau receive respectful, timely, and holistic care.
In this role you will:
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive clinic environment for both staff and whānau
- Coordinate the daily operations of the multidisciplinary clinics, ensuring a seamless experience for wāhine, birthing people and whānau
- Facilitate effective collaboration between our Waitematā team and LMC’s
- Champion culturally responsive practice, equity of access, and drive service improvements and contribute to quality and safety initiatives
This position will be weekdays, 0800-1630. Flexibility to cover our clinic roster and work collaboratively within our community team.

The successful candidate will be:
- Aotearoa, New Zealand registered midwife with a current annual practicing certificate
- A resourceful health practitioner who is able to manage their workload and make sound clinical decisions
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
