About the Role

As a Clinical Research Study Assistant, you will support the delivery of a large portfolio of Haematology and Oncology clinical trials. This includes managing projects, co-ordinating trial activities, and providing administrative and operational support to the wider nursing and clinical teams. You’ll help ensure that research is conducted ethically and effectively, in line with Good Clinical Practice standards.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll be contributing to studies that offer patients access to new and innovative treatments, while developing your own research career in a highly regarded tertiary hospital setting.

About the Team / Service / Location

Based at Te Pūriri o Te Ora – Auckland’s Regional Cancer and Blood Service, you’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team of clinical research professionals who are passionate about improving outcomes for people with cancer. We provide research opportunities for patients throughout the Auckland region and nationally.

About You

As a Clinical Research Study Assistant, you will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Medical/Health Science, Pharmacy, or a similar field
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • A strong interest in developing a career in clinical research
