About Us

Many young people in New Zealand experience Mental Health difficulties at some point over the course of their childhood and teenage years. At Health New Zealand, Waitemata, the Marinoto North Child and Adolescent Team offer mental health support to young people and their Whanau across the Marinoto North/Rodney areas.

About You

We are currently looking for a Clinical Psychologist with Child and Adolescent Mental Health experience, who wants to make a difference for our young people within North shore and Rodney catchment area of Auckland.

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist with the following qualities:

  • A desire to work with children, youth and their families who have complex mental health needs
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or recognised training in an evidence based intervention for Child and Youth mental health presentations
  • Registration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of practice
  • Current Practicing Certificate
  • Proven psychological, psychometric and neuropsychological assessment skills 
  • Experience in brief psychological interventions preferred
  • Experience in Child Youth and Family mental health settings
  • We prefer candidates with the ability to work autonomously
