We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our dynamic perioperative team.
As an experienced Nurse with proven theatre experience in robotics and a passion for developing others, you will bring leadership, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient focused care.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role is based at Tōtara Haumaru and we offer excellent teamwork, a supportive environment and the chance to be at the forefront of robotic surgical workforce development.
As CNS, Robotics, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and advancing the robotic surgical practice. This includes:
- Working alongside the team in theatre to role model excellence in clinical practice
- Coaching, supporting and developing colleagues to deliver safe, evidence-based care
- Leading on the governance and professional development of the surgical assistant role for robotics
- Partnering with educators and the wider multidisciplinary team to drive innovation, seamless care and continuous quality improvement across our service
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
· New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
· Minimum of 3 years post registration within an acute and surgical setting
· Post graduate Certificate in Surgical Specialty Nursing, with advanced physical assessment and history taking
· Current ACLS certification
· Must have a current portfolio at a minimum of RN 3 Proficient
