- Senior nursing opportunity
- Fixed term until June 2027
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.
About the Role
- Clinical Nurse Specialist – National Inter-Agency Hub (Fulltime)
This newly created position provides a rare opportunity to be part of the establishment of an important national initiative. The initiative brings together six government agencies, including Health, to create a coordinated multi‑agency response that strengthens safety and support for some of our most vulnerable tamariki. You will also support other multi-agency tables. The Hub is based at Grey Lynn and focuses specifically on tamariki whose sole caregiver is incarcerated—an estimated 2,240 children each year across Aotearoa.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with partner agencies to inform risk and safety responses for tamariki. You will also contribute to establishing the Inter-Agency Hub’s processes, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes, and enhancing how health services support national risk assessment, safety planning, and wraparound support for tamariki and their whānau.
