About the Team/Service/ Location
Located at Tauranga Hospital, the Ward 1D team works as the engine room for the hospital's patient flow. The service specialises in managing acute variance, bridge the timing gap between Emergency Department admissions and ward bed availability. We are a diverse, highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team that thrives on mutual support and camaraderie.

About you
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and values-led clinical leader to join our evolving service.
What you will bring:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and current APC
- Strong post-registration clinical experience in an acute care, medical, or emergency setting
- Proven ability to coordinate safe staffing, drive patient flow, manage clinical escalations, and foster team development
- A relevant postgraduate diploma - or working towards one - is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an innate ability to work effectively alongside multidisciplinary colleagues and whānau alike
