- Permanent part-time position (0.6 FTE), working 24 hours per week

About the Role
As a Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department, you will primarily be responsible for providing clinical coordination and direction to the nursing team within the department.
Key responsibility areas include:
- Effectively and efficiently co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the department and staff
- Ensure the provision of quality care which is safe, professional and patient focused
- Demonstrate clinical leadership of the nursing team

About you
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in an Emergency Department
- Designated Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
- Working towards or holder of a relevant Post Graduate Diploma
- Ability to work independently in a team, enhancing the capability and contribution of the team
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
- Current New Zealand Drivers Licence
