Our supportive and dynamic Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) is seeking a collaborative and inspiring Clinical Manager to join our operational leadership group. About the Team/Service/ Location

Our small team [20 Clinical FTE] across two towns, pride ourselves on a culture of whānau-centred care (family focused) and continuous learning. As our new Clinical Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering this positive environment while overseeing the delivery of specialized mental health support from infancy through adolescence. The manager role is ideally based in Rotorua, leading both the Northern (Rotorua) and Southern (Taupo, Turangi & Mangakino) iCAMHS teams.

About you

The successful Lakes iCAMHS Clinical Manager, a registered health professional, brings proven leadership and operational management skills in growing service excellence, the ability to respond rapidly and flexibly to change, strong communication & interpersonal skills and is a team player, with a passion for the Lakes Community. 

Essential skills include:

  • Proven Clinical Leadership
  • Foster Team work 
  • Manage resources 
  • Promote Professional Development
  • Ability to build strong relationships and integration across the sector
  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate mental health & addiction clinical experience
