About the Role

Health New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes is seeking an enthusiastic, diligent and reliable individual to join our Clinical Equipment Pool team on a permanent part time basis, ideally working a Tuesday and Wednesday. Supported day to day by a senior and experienced Clinical Equipment Coordinator, this new position will support the growing demand to manage the timely distribution of clinical equipment to all areas of Rotorua Hospital. Duties include:

• Providing daily co-ordination and oversight of equipment entering and leaving the pool
• Ensuring clinical equipment is well functioning and maintained to a high standard
• Ensuring that customers (ward staff) have the right equipment, in the right place and at the right time, to provide the critical patient care required for our Lakes community
• Assist in the education of ward staff about the correct use and maintenance of equipment
• Full training will be provided.
