About the Role
As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care under the guidance of our clinical team. Your contribution will help ensure that our healthcare environment runs smoothly and efficiently, directly impacting the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient transfers throughout the hospital
- Maintain stock levels and ensure supplies are readily available
- Support patient sliding and positioning with care and respect
- Set up and prepare clinical equipment for procedures
- Manage patient bookings and scheduling tasks
- Perform manual handling duties safely and confidently
Your proactive approach and commitment to teamwork will be highly valued in this fast-paced environment.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the Health New Zealand Medical Imaging Technologist Collective Agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances, professional development and wellness support.
