About the role/team/location
- You'll manage a broad and diverse range of Child & Adolescent psychiatry cases, reflecting the complexity seen across modern mental health services. This variety ensures continuous professional development and the chance to apply your full spectrum of skills within our innovative Te Ara Tauwhirotanga (kindness-led) model of care.

About you
- The complexity of cases requires a solid foundation across general psychiatry, allowing you to provide comprehensive and holistic care for our Tamariki (babies), Rangatahi (young people), and their whanau (family).
- You must hold or be eligible for Vocational Registration as a Child Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). We welcome applicants from international jurisdictions and are ready to assist you through the registration process.
- We value the sharing of knowledge and are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and mentoring colleagues and trainees. Your expertise will be vital in developing the next generation of mental health professionals within the Lakes community.
