General Medicine is an acute adult health service at Auckland City Hospital comprised of 5 General Medicine wards. Each ward has a subspecialty of medicine (Ward 67 – Dermatology) which we will be happy to discuss in further detail during your interview. 

Our Medicine wards provide structured orientation and on-going professional development, coaching and support. If you are passionate about the delivery of high-quality care, teamwork and continuing education, then we would love to hear from you.

Prerequisites

  • To be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with an Annual Practicing Certificate
  • 5+ years acute hospital experience, preferably in General Medicine
  • Post graduate studies completed or in progress
  • Proven leadership capability gained through past and present clinical or professional positions
