About the Role

Orderlies facilitate the effective day to day operation of Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti by maintaining consistent non-patient and/or patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times.

The orderly supports patient care through a range of duties which support the patient receiving efficient and effective healthcare services in a professional and courteous manner.

• Ability to work, methodically whether individually or within a team environment
• Follows instructions and takes directions
• Effectively manages time to ensure all duties are completed within allocated period
