About the Role
As an Outpatient Scheduler, you will provide effective and efficient management of the booking system / patient waiting lists and ensure a customer focused service to the patients and their families. This role thrives on collaboration, organisation, and compassion, supporting the team to provide safe, timely, well‑coordinated scheduling across Te Tai Tokerau.

About the Team/Service/Location
This role is part of the Outpatient Scheduling Services team that schedules outpatient clinics for a number of medical and surgical services across Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Te Tai Tokerau.

About you
As an Outpatient Scheduler, you will possess advanced computer proficiency, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to produce accurate and detailed documentation with a strong attention to detail.
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Organisational skills
Desired
- Current first aid certificate
- Awareness of Te Reo Māori
- Healthcare experience
- Knowledge of Patient Management System (WebPAS) and/or medical terminology
