About the Role

As an Associate Clinical Nurse Manager, you will undertake a leadership role within the Perioperative Services at Whangarei Hospital and provide clinical expertise and direction to the nursing team to support best practice and patient focused care within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key responsibility areas include:

  • Contribute to and foster the use of evidenced based practice
  • Provide professional leadership and supervision of the nursing team

About you

As an Associate Clinical Nurse Manager, you will have the ability to develop productive and positive relationships, lead and facilitate change and be able to educate and coach staff while encouraging teamwork with a positive attitude

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate (APC)
  • Relevant Post Graduate Diploma
  • Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant specialty area
