About the Role:
We are looking for skilled administrator who pride themselves in their customer service abilities to join our close-knit Referral & Appointment Centre admin team. The role supports our Counties Manukau clinical services in managing their patient referrals, first specialist appointments and elective surgical bookings. As well as communicating with our patient and whanau community, you will be working closely with clinicians, nurses, managers, and relevant teams involved in patient care.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until December 2026, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am to 5:30pm. The position is based at 15 Lambie Drive, Manukau City, with flexibility required to work at other locations within Counties Manukau as needed.
About you:
We are keen to hear from individuals who are reliable and can provide us with real-life examples of their success in current/previous roles and how they would fit into and improve this role.
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent time management & interpersonal ability
- 2+ years minimum experience in customer focussed administration, preferably healthcare
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and a quick learner of IT applications
- Confidence in use of, and a quick learner of digital software applications
- Experience working within a large & diverse team
