About the Role
As the Team Manager for community and outpatient services, you will provide operational leadership and management to your interdisciplinary Allied Health teams based across Waitakere and North Shore Hospitals, and our satellite community bases at Hibiscus Coast and Warkworth. You will be expected to spend some time at each of the bases. This role also encompasses operational leadership of the Regional Volunteer Stroke Scheme Service. With the support of your clinical leads, you will ensure the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient Allied Health services across the patient pathway.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will join an experienced and supportive group of Team Managers who operationalise allied health services across adult & older adult services. You will work in close collaboration with the Allied Health Operations Manager, Professional and Clinical Leaders, and the other Team Managers in order to contribute to whole of systems service planning, and development or refinement of models of care.
About you
It is essential that you are a qualified allied health professional with at least 6 years’ experience in a leadership role. You will have proven experience of developing and managing a team in a senior clinical role.
You must be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:
- Experience of developing and managing service and / or team goals
- Experience in leading innovation and quality improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and self-management skills with the ability to work in a complex and changing environment
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, priority setting and planning
