Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Permanenet 0.6 FTE 

Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking an Allied Health, Scientific or Technical emerging or established leader who is looking for an opportunity to grow their skills, knowledge, and breadth of experience in a supportive team environment. 

This role is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects such as the Allied Health safe staffing programme, as well as work activities identified in the Allied Health and Community directorate workplan, including planning of educational programmes.

Current activities include supporting the following:
-       Implementation of the Allied Health Safe Staffing Milestones
-       Implementation of the Allied Health Career Framework
-       Specific directorate activities aligned to the National Planned Care and Acute Patient Flow programs.
-       Activities aligned to workforce growth and development.

You will also be an integral member of the results driven Allied Health, Scientific and Technical Directorate Leadership Team, to support the delivery of the Allied Health, Scientific & Technical and Community Strategy.

Moū - About you
You will be a motivated and insightful people leader who effectively engages with a variety of stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to deliver on objectives. 

You will hold a relevant APC as an Allied Health, Scientific or Technical professional along with the following skills and experience:
-       Proven interest in developing skills and career progression as a leader 
-       Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
-       A strong capability to build culturally safe connections with people, to collaboratively deliver results
-       An ability to work proactively and coordinate work programs 
-       An ability to analyse data and evidence to inform decisions and directions 
-       A proven ability to implement sustainable change and quality improvement/project management 
-       Knowledge of the implications of and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi
