About the Role

As an Administrator for the Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Bowel Screening Programme (BSP), you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the management of the BSP patient cohort undergoing colonoscopy procedures, ensuring all processes align with BSP guidelines. Duties include wait list management, data entry, booking & scheduling, stock management, and most important, providing excellent customer service to BSP clients.

This role is covered by the PSA National Health Administration Workers collective agreement and is mapped to band 5.

About Us

The National Bowel Screening Programme is free for people aged 60 to 74 years. It aims to save lives by finding bowel cancer at an early stage when it can often be successfully treated.

Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience in customer service, an excellent phone manner, and great computer skills (including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel). Experience in public health booking and scheduling services would be highly advantageous.

You’ll be a customer focussed team player, with a professional demeanour and the ability to relate well to other people.
