About the Role

Te Kuiti Hospital runs an Emergency Department, 12 bed inpatient unit and outpatient department, and in this vital role, you'll be offered shifts when required, ensuring seamless support to our busy team.
This fast-paced and rewarding role offers plenty of variety. You'll be at the frontline of patient care, creating a welcoming environment for patients and their whānau, while providing essential support to our clinical staff, making this position a vital part of our hospital community.

The Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role are:
- Excellent communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Well-developed clerical skills and previous health care administration experience would be highly advantageous
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Empathetic
- Quick to learn new systems
- Calm under pressure
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
