We are looking for a professional, self-motivated and organised administrator to provide support for the Director of Clinical Training and our small but dynamic team. If you have administration experience, enjoy working in a team, are adaptable and enjoy liaising with other professionals in the hospital environment, we would like to hear from you.

Our team has shared responsibility for ensuring Waikato hospital is an effective teaching hospital, building a learning community to improve patient care and inspire doctors to become lifelong learners.
Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts. With around 722 inpatient beds, 22 operating theatres, and a dedicated outpatient clinic and procedure centre, Waikato Hospital provides comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy. As a major teaching hospital with affiliations to the University of Auckland, University of Waikato, and Wintec, it offers a dynamic learning environment and access to research opportunities. About you
Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- NCEA Level 3.
- Word, Excel, Database, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook diary management knowledge.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing support to senior management.
- Demonstrated leader and/or management skills.
- Experience within a large and complex organisation.
