About the Role

Join a dynamic team at Waitakere Hospital, where your administrative and team support skills directly contribute to enhancing clinical and simulation training programs within the Waitemata District. As the Administration and Team Support professional for Clinical and Simulation Training, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the smooth running of training activities at Waitakere Hospital. Your day-to-day will involve managing bookings, handling communications, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery of educational and simulation programs. You will also be responsible for the setup and coordination of Clinical Training and Simulation Training environments, ensuring all equipment and resources are prepared and available for effective learning experiences. This is a vital role where your organisational skills and proactive approach will help shape a high-quality learning environment.

About you

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in administration or team support, ideally in a clinical or training environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
  • A collaborative, positive attitude with a commitment to supporting health equity
  • Be physically fit and healthy, as the role involves lifting and setting up training equipment
  • A good understanding of audio-visual equipment and its setup
