About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administrative Support Clerk to join our Women’s Health services. If you are organised, people-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
In this key role, you will ensure smooth and efficient outpatient clinic operations by:
- Coordinating and booking patient appointments in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
- Maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment waitlists
- Registering patients and keeping information up to date on iPM
- Communicating clearly with patients via phone and written correspondence regarding appointments and procedures
- Monitoring the quality of electronic records, proactively addressing any issues as they arise
About you:
You will bring a strong background in administrative support in health environment, with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, professional presence.
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer-focused administrative role within healthcare
- Proficiency in iPM, MCIS, and clinical portal systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and effective time management
- Fluency in an additional language, preferably Te Reo Māori or a Pacific language, is highly desirable and will be considered a valuable asset
