About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Case Management Coordinator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the way we support our people to stay at work or return to work safely and sustainably. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values quality care, continuous improvement, and meaningful engagement with both internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaising effectively with ACC and our Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Leading the development and implementation of key programs that support staff wellbeing and recovery.
  • Providing a high-quality, people-centered case management service with a focus on best outcomes.
  • Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to foster trust and build strong support networks.
  • Contributing to ongoing service improvements through a quality-focused approach.

Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts. About you

The experience and professional requirements needed in the role are:

  • 5 years of experience in an administration/co-ordination role
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with electronic file management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent time management with the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks
  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
