- Part time - Saturday and Sunday, 2.30pm to 11pm
This role is focused on the day-to-day operational leadership and staffing of both Cleaning and Orderly services at Waitākere Hospital.
This role will report directly to the Clinical Support Coordinator and will be both challenging and rewarding with the teams’ outcomes directly affecting the patient experience at Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā District.
You will be able to think outside the square, not be afraid of change and be able to demonstrate problem solving, leadership and customer service skills.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Direct Leadership of designated Cleaning and Orderly staff.
- Planning and prioritising key tasks within your team
- Ensuring standards and KPI’s for your team are met
- To engage with Service users on a regular basis to ensure outcomes and expectations are aligned
- Ensuring duty rosters are maintained and adequate staff coverage provided
- Payroll duties including time card recording and amendments
- Be computer literate especially with Microsoft Office applications
Training and orientation will be provided, however experience in leading a team, customer service and working in a healthcare setting would be highly advantageous.
