Registered Nurse - Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) Team, North

• Monday to Friday
• Based in Takapuna

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in mental health who would like to join a dedicated and supportive team working with young people recovering from psychosis.

We are an assertive outreach, community based multidisciplinary team working with young people and their whanau, providing interventions from the acute phase of psychosis through to recovery.

You will provide case management, assessment and interventions to young people living in the Takapuna/North Waitemata District geographic area. Skills in crisis intervention and recovery planning are essential. We see most of our clients in the community so you will need a full drivers licence. This position is based at 46 Taharoto Rd, Takapuna, North Shore.

You will receive support in your professional development through supervision and ongoing training opportunities. 

Essential

• Registered Nurse scope of practice and able to practice within mental health setting
• Current NZ registration and annual practicing certificate
• Current New Zealand drivers licence
• At least three years contemporary mental health and addiction nursing experience
• Recent experience of working with tangata whai i te ora and their whānau
• Achieved RN level 2 – Competent Healthcare portfolio
