About the Role
Our Health Care Assistants support the healthcare teams and service activities in wards/units ensuring service delivery is always maintained.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Ward 4 is a 34-bed surgical unit specializing in Head and Neck, Upper GI, Hepatobiliary, and Urology surgeries. Our skilled team also delivers expert care for a wide range of acute general surgical conditions, from minor procedures to more complex cases. We foster a supportive environment where you can truly make an impact. Through a collaborative approach, you'll work closely with our Registered Nurses to ensure exceptional care for our patients.
About you
As a Healthcare Assistant the following are required:
- A Minimum of NZQA Level 3 National Certificate or similar
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant
- Strong command in English
- Excellent customer service practises
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand, NZ Residency or Citizenship
