Te Whatu Ora Waitemata is a major provider of healthcare services in the Western and Northern Districts of Auckland, supported by Waitakere and North Shore Hospitals. We are committed to ‘Best care for Everyone’ - our patients and their families, our community & iwi, and the healthcare workforce.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to fill this part time 16 hours/ fortnight Senior Nurse role with possibility to move to full time role.

The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Medical and Nursing staff and other external stakeholders to provide expert OPIVA support and advisory service to patients, relatives, and clinical staff.

You will leverage your proven clinical leadership, exemplary knowledge, critical reasoning and professional judgement to advance nursing care in this specialty to contribute to the development of integrated service delivery. Develop innovative, solutions for patient -focused practice improvement. 

 As a minimum you have 5 years post registration experience in the surgical speciality and have achieved RN Level 4, or equivalent with current portfolio. You have a reputation for excellence and are pursuing a Masters degree in Health Science/Nursing.
