About the Role

We have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Nurse who would like to work in a Breast Care setting. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our clinical multidisciplinary team providing information, education and support for women during all stages of the breast screening and assessment process.

BreastScreen Waitematā Northland (BSWN) is part of Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora’s free national BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) Programme. We screen over 45,000 women each year, and we pride ourselves on consistently delivering a positive experience for our clients. We are a passionate, multidisciplinary team delivering a high quality service that is all about engaging with women to detect breast cancer early, when it can be more effectively treated

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a registered nurse in New Zealand with a current APC
  • Have at least two years of post-registration nursing experience
  • Be committed to learning with a willingness to undertake further training to meet BreastScreen Aotearoa requirements
  • Be compassionate, self motivated, an excellent communicator and thrive in a fast paced challenging environment

Experience working in breast care or women’s health would be highly advantageous.
