About the Role:
As a Ward Clerk some of your main responsibilities will be to provide efficient administration, clerical and reception support. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, great customer service focus, computer skills and a 'can do' attitude.
Based at Middlemore Hospital, an amazing opportunity is waiting for you in our 22-bed inpatient Medicine ward, located in Ward 31. This ward supports Haematology and General Medicine patients.
We have 2 part-time positions available, working 20 hours a week between 8am to 4:30pm, 7 days on and 7 days off Monday to Sunday.
About You
Previous experience in a health care setting and knowledge of Patient Information Management Systems (i.PM/PiMs) is essential.
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Frontline reception and telephone experience
- Computer technology knowledge and basic computer skills
- Previous administration experience
The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
